Mrs. Adams began her journey by receiving her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2012. She spent the next years gaining invaluable experience taking care of cardiac patients at the Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. She then decided she wanted to further her career and began working on her master's in Nurse Practitioner at George Washington University. While pursuing her degree, she switched to a position in the operating room as a circulating nurse at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She graduated in 2018 and became a nurse practitioner, where she then joined a neurosurgery group and worked alongside some amazing neurosurgeons in the operating room assisting with various spinal and brain surgeries, as well as managing acute and chronic illness. She later transitioned to Sub-Investigator with Meridian clinical research conducting clinical trials for vaccines, and chronic conditions like Multiple Sclerosis, Migraine Headaches, and Parkinson's Disease. She is trained in all neurological conditions with a special interest in Multiple Sclerosis. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, boating, hiking, and relaxing on the beach.
